Guarantee Electrical Company was recently awarded the Electrical Construction package on the new Mount Vernon High School project in Mount Vernon, Illinois. The new high school will be a state of the art, 309,500 square foot high school featuring the latest in construction technology and adapted for future technologies on the front-end. As part of the construction technology requirements, Guarantee will utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to ensure the project will be able to meet the fast paced 18 months construction schedule. The electrical construction package consists of providing electrical power, lighting, fire protection, alarms, and more to the administration areas, modern classrooms, a trendsetting fully functioning theater and turnkey lighting for a new football stadium. Additionally, the forward thinking school will be roughed-in to prepare for future student growth and ever changing technologies in education.
