Xcel Energy has awarded Guarantee Electrical Company’s Colorado office it’s prestigious “Journey to Zero” Award for 2015. Guarantee was recognized at Xcel’s 2015 PSCO Contractor Safety Summit. The honor is bestowed upon those companies which attain zero recordable injuries or near misses for one year. According to Dave Cenedella, director of Transmission Construction and Line Operations, “The Safety Summits were designed to ensure everyone working at Xcel Energy worksites understand safety expectations, as well as to share best practices with the objective of preventing injuries and close calls.”
“Guarantee Electrical is very proud of our progress creating an injury free work place. We believe we are obligated to protecting all of our employees each day, as well as sharing ideas and actions which contribute to a safer working environment for all”, said Dennis Dubitsky Director of Safety for Guarantee Electrical.
Guarantee Electrical has a strong history of garnering safety awards, including AGC Safety Award for Specialty Contractor, annually from 2011 through 2014, as well as the Federated Electrical Contractor National Award for Safety (Platinum Level) during the same four year time period.
