From the outset, Guarantee Electrical was tasked with providing turnkey design/assist electrical and systems construction services including cost estimating, value engineering, technical reviews, constructability reviews, document coordination and schedule development. Guarantee employed its Electrical Contractor Quality Control (ECQC) program which provided for an open book program of transparency in cost control, planning, inspections, reporting and commissioning to ensure owner satisfaction during the project life cycle. To wit, BIM modeling was instrumental in delivering a truly integrated, tight working condition project.
Guarantee provided all site civil electrical utilities which then allowed for temporary power to be run. This proved to be instrumental allowing all trades to work throughout the winter.
Guarantee Electrical Company provided the electrical distribution with the flexibility and backup to support facility’s 3000 amp service. Additionally Guarantee installed all of the systems controls related to 390 voice/data locations, CAT5E from the building entrance facility to IDF on each floor, all fiber-optic on each floor, card-access, CCTV, Lighting Controls, and Daylight Harvesting.
Through BIM modeling, the extensive amount of potential clashes required extraordinary planning, prefabrication and job site management. In total Guarantee logged more than 24,500 man hours without a single incident.
