For the fifth straight year, Guarantee Electrical Company has been named as a finalist on multiple projects for the AGC Construction Keystone Awards. With 12 Keystone wins in the last four years, GECO is hoping to continue the streak for its performances on the following construction projects; Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center (Infrastructure Projects $5 million or more); MSD 2015 Flood Mitigation (Industrial/Infrastructure Projects $5 million or less); William H. Danforth Wing Addition (Building Construction Projects $5 million or more) and Walgreens Specialty Pharmaceutical Distribution Center Pittsburgh, PA (National-Commercial Projects $10 million or less).
Working with contractor, McCarthy Building Companies, both the Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center and William H. Danforth Wing projects prove that constructing in a team setting results in best of class finished electrical and systems construction.
December 2015 saw the St. Louis region receive more than 20 inches of rain in short duration resulting in tremendous flooding, including many wastewater treatment plants posing significant health risks to the general public. Working with the owner, MSD and two general contractors, KAI & KCI, Guarantee’s Quick Response department worked around the clock for several months to ensure public and employee safety was at the forefront of this cleanup project.
When Contegra Construction needed a trusted local electrical contractor with a national reach to manage the electrical construction on Walgreen’s new Specialty Pharmaceutical Distribution Center in Pittsburgh, PA they selected Guarantee Electrical. Through Guarantee’s nationwide best practices group, Federated Electrical Contractors (FEC), a joint venture partnership with FEC partner, Lighthouse Electric of Pittsburgh, proved to be an enormous value to the owner.
The AGC St. Louis Construction Keystone Awards annually celebrates construction excellence and winners will be announced at the awards banquet in November 2016.
