Guarantee Electrical Company completed a hat-trick on Thursday, November 14, 2013 by winning three AGC St. Louis Construction Keystone Awards. GECO won in the Specialty Contractor/Subcontractor Building Construction Projects Under $1 Million category for its superb, turnkey, work on the world famous St. Louis Art Museum Expansion. Additionally, the work on the Mississippi River Wastewater treatment Plant, owned by the City of St. Charles, MO earned GECO’s second award of the night. This time in the Specialty Contractor/Subcontractor Industrial/Infrastructure Projects Under $5 million category. The evening was completed when the most prestigious of the three awards was announced. Up against some outstanding competition, Guarantee Electrical’s strength in its breadth of services, longevity in construction, and promise to deliver higher finished products to owners, earned the company the right to be called Specialty Contractor of the Year in the Electrical Category. Since the inception of this award, Guarantee Electrical remains undefeated in this category.
According to Doug Mertzluft, President, “It's always great to win an award, but to win an award like the AGC Keystones based on our performance, and voted on by our peers, is especially an honor. Guarantee Electrical Company could not enjoy the success we do, without the great team of employees and customers which allow us to excel.”
The AGC St. Louis Construction Keystone Awards honors the achievements of St. Louis construction firms and their employees in building the facilities that support and enhance the quality of life in Greater St. Louis. A Keystone Award recipient exhibits excellence in providing solutions to unique obstacles and challenges specific to their project. A Keystone Award is not given on beauty. The award is based on achieving solutions during construction for the challenges faced by contractors.
